The final bit of my stay in the psych ward. Just as much as I am tired of talking about it, I’m sure you guys are tired of reading about it so it’s time to move on. That’s all we really can do in the end. Now what?

Today Was a Good Day
Just as there are bad days, there are good days. I appreciate the good days when they come and sometimes we have to focus on the positive to make it through the bad days.
Tales from the Psych Ward (Part 3): “Therapy”
I Don’t Know MUCH BUT… I do know that therapy should be a bit more tailored to the person that is receiving it. The last time I was at Southern Maryland, I wasn’t as knowledgeable regarding psychology. I was obtaining my Associate’s at the time but I just think that there is so much moreContinue reading “Tales from the Psych Ward (Part 3): “Therapy””
Tales from the Psych Ward (Part One)
Back Again Okay, 12 years ago, I had to go to Southern Maryland Hospital for getting extremely triggered by my father and cutting the tendons in my hand. I talked about it a little in The Story of My Mental Illness. Well, I found myself back at the same hospital although it is now Medstar SouthernContinue reading “Tales from the Psych Ward (Part One)”
Diagnosing People Based Off ONE Incident with NO Mental Health Background
If you see someone doing something that isn’t right, don’t just assume they have a mental illness. There are some people with mental illnesses that do not act like this and it is not up to us to throw diagnoses out there based on ONE incident. Before obtaining a diagnosis from a PROFESSIONAL, there is a work up done, records reviewed, etc. Professionals don’t just walk up on someone and diagnose them and we shouldn’t either.

BipolarContinue reading “Don’t Use Your Mental Illness as a Crutch”
How Kpop Changed My Life – Part TWO: Fan Wars
This is Where Kpop Gets STUPID I really hate this subject. I really hate the people that promote it. This is kind of when I hate Kpop in general. Something SO beautiful that should unite everyone gets turned into this mess. And, maybe it’s because I’m older, but I don’t see the point of it.Continue reading “How Kpop Changed My Life – Part TWO: Fan Wars”
Think Before You Speak on DMX, Mental Illness, and Addiction
A lot of people are making a lot of comments about this man, his life, his friends, his death, his trauma, and his addiction. People are literally out here claiming that no one cared about him while he was alive. That has to be a huge lie. But I’m getting ahead of myself. How DMXContinue reading “Think Before You Speak on DMX, Mental Illness, and Addiction”
Facebook Jail for the Third Time (for 30 Days)
As many now know, Facebook has been on a rampage with the whole jailing thing. I have written about all the times I have been in Facebook jail and for what, HOWEVER, this is probably the dumbest reason to get banned out of all of them. In a true crime group that I’m in (andContinue reading “Facebook Jail for the Third Time (for 30 Days)”
